  1. The analysis is persuasive and the final paragraph of the conclusions chilling. Appropriately there is no reference to likely UK policy which I assume will be to follow closely the US which is driven in turn by a combination of big business interests, essentially in energy and armaments, and by the Israeli lobby. It will be interesting, to say the least to see how France and Germany and the rest of the EU react now that there is no British voice in European policy making.
