Despite being a theatrical rather than strategic operation, the strike has potentially devastating regional consequences and uncertain global implications.

Your piece “Ahab’s Folly” is the best piece of political analysis I have read in a long time.

It is difficult to imagine that the US has not yet matured enough and self confidence enough to conduct intelligent policy free from the need for revenge for ancient slights.

This president has proved himself to be a shallow showman of no intellectual substance and should be shown the door before he does some terrible damage to the country and to the world.

And what about all the people around him? A bunch of mere yesmen? Not one of them has the guts to resign in the face of such flagrant unlawfulness.
